"Following the release of Interstellar, our friends at Wired Magazine appointed director Christopher Nolan as guest editor of the December 2014 Issue. I was approached by the team to create visualizations to be featured on the cover and throughout the issue’s spreads, page slugs, table of contents, etc. The illustrations include representations for each of the five dimensions—line, planes, space, time, and the multiverse. The illustrations were created with assistance by Sam Hodges here at Hugo & Marie, and the result weaves a moody narrative with light, shadow, and illusionistic geometry that takes the audience through fun, brain-teasing concepts."
